Dividends and Dividend Payout Ratio
Dividend Policy
The Company positions the return of profits to shareholders as one of its highest management priorities. As a basic policy, while efficiently utilizing retained earnings to strengthen its corporate foundation and invest for future earnings growth, the Company aims to provide stable and continuous dividends in line with its business performance.
The Company’s basic policy is to pay dividends from surplus twice a year, consisting of interim and year-end dividends. In accordance with Article 459 of the Companies Act, the Articles of Incorporation stipulate that dividends may be determined by resolution of the Board of Directors. However, as a general rule, year-end dividends are resolved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
